Description
Cyrille Dubois discovered singing at the age of 7 at the Maîtrise de Caen (directed by Robert Weddle), as a sopranist. After scientific studies he entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris in the classroom of Alain Buet (First Prize summa cum laude in 2010), then improved at the Atelier Lyrique of Paris National Opera. 2015 he is awarded « Opera Singer Discovery of the year» at the 22nd French Victoires de la Musique.

Cyrille Dubois likes performing recitals with Tristan Raës, his partner from Duo Contraste. Winners of Lili and Nadia Boulanger Competition and triple winners of 2013 Lyon 9th Chamber Music International Competition (Duet voice-piano, Lied & Songs : First Prize and Audience Prize) they are invited to perform at the Hermitage Théâtre in Saint-Petersbourg, Palazetto Bru Zane in Venice, Claude Debussy Museum, Invalides Army Museum in Paris, Paris National Opera, as well as Wigmore Hall in London, Moscow in the Piano aux Jacobins series, Le Louvre Paris & Lens Museums etc. Together they recorded Clairères dans le ciel, a programme dedicated to musicians of the Great War (Hortus Editions 2014) & O Lieb ! an album dedicated to Liszt (Aparté , Autumn 2019).
Cyrille Dubois also collaborates with Anne Le Bozec, Jeff Cohen, Michel Dalberto and Nicolas Stavy.
In concert he performed under the direction of Thomas Engelbrock (Orchestre de Paris), as Colin/Le Devin du Village (Les Nouveaux Caractères, CD) ; Mozart C-minor Mass (Insula Orchestra & Laurence Equilbey ), Berlioz Roméo et Juliette (Sinfonieorchester Basel/Ivor Bolton ), Castor et Pollux (Ensemble Pygmalion/Raphaël Pichon) ; Les Horaces & Tarare by Salieri and the title-part of Pygmalion (Aparté CD recording) with Les Talens Lyriques/Christophe Rousset , Cyrille/Kassya by Delibes (Montpellier Occitanie & Radio-France Festival), Berlioz concert (Vienna Symphonic Orchestra/Philippe Jordan - Vienna Musikverein), etc.
